First day in Blackburn

Well, this is the view of Manchester from the plane on the arrival to the United Kingdon. I was very lucky to have Nick Cooney and his mum, Cath, picking me up at the airport.
Since then, it has been a non stop range of activities.

The first thing we did, after droppping the bags at Cath's place --where I am staying these three months--, was to head to an Accrington ladies match. Accrington ladies is a club founded by Nick's sister. It was a great match to watch especially considering that CF Pallejà has a very strong ladies team and I love getting ideas and players of all levels.

I was impressed with the football pitches in Preston. The amount and quality of the football pitches in England is just amazing!!

After that, we went to a local pub to watch the final of the EFL Cup, between Manchester United and Southampton. People here are very keen on Manchester United and Mourinho. Mourinho was very nice to kids of Blackburn Rovers when MU played against Blackburn. We had great chats and enjoyed football in the pub!!

And later on, we had a family Sunday dinner. Great family and a great Welcome to Blackburn on my first day!

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR MAKING ME FEEL AT HOME!
